VME coop

VME coop is a worker-owned cooperative enterprise that supplies retail technology software to retail cooperatives — particularly food and convenience-store cooperatives in the United Kingdom — including point-of-sale (POS), inventory management, online ordering and membership loyalty systems. Its business dates back to 1999 and it converted to a worker cooperative around 2020, governed democratically by its employees on a one-member-one-vote basis. It is a member of Cooperatives Europe, the ICA's European regional organisation.
