VICTO National Cooperative Federation & Development Center (VICTO National)

The VICTO National Cooperative Federation & Development Center, headquartered in Cebu City, traces its origins to organising work undertaken by Canadian Scarboro missionaries in Leyte province in the 1960s, and was formally established in 1970. It is a secondary cooperative organisation with more than 200 member cooperatives across the Philippines, engaged mainly in cooperative organisational development, education and training, and financial services, having helped incubate a number of successful primary cooperatives. VICTO National is a member of the International Cooperative Alliance.
