COOPERATIVA DE AHORRO Y CRÉDITO VEGA ALTA (VEGACOOP)

Cooperativa de Ahorro y Crédito Vega Alta (VEGACOOP) was founded in 1953 and is headquartered in Vega Alta, in northern Puerto Rico. It provides members with diversified, affordable savings and credit and other financial services, with branches in Bayamón, Toa Alta, Toa Baja, Dorado and San Juan, among other locations. According to its public data, it serves about 37,000 members (figure for reference only). The cooperative promotes community socioeconomic and cultural development through cooperative principles and is a member of ICA Americas.
