Taavon Insurance Company (Bimeh Taavon) is Iran's first and only cooperative insurance company, headquartered in Tehran. The company was co-founded by cooperative enterprises, cooperative federations and provincial investment companies, completed its registration at the end of 2012, and obtained property, liability and personal insurance licences in 2013, with business covering motor, fire, marine, health, life and engineering insurance. The company is a member of ICA's Asia-Pacific region.
