Profile
Supplementary Reference Material
Reference period: 2015年前后Materials compiled from Sino-foreign exchange visits indicate that Turkey's cooperative movement has hosted global conferences and related forums of the International Co-operative Alliance, demonstrating its organisational capacity in regional and global cooperative affairs. The materials also note that Turkish consumer cooperatives and the fruit growers' cooperative union, among other organisations, have practical experience in urban consumption, agricultural product trade and food-processing cooperation; the fruit growers' cooperative union in particular has pursued cooperative intentions around trade in specialty products such as figs and food processing, illustrating Turkish cooperatives' potential in agricultural export and industrial-chain cooperation.
Note: this section is compiled mainly from materials gathered during exchange visits between Chinese and international cooperative organisations, and does not represent an official position. Because it draws on first-hand exchanges and observed institutional practice, it is offered as contextual reference material.
