The National Association of Co-operative Savings and Credit Unions (NACSCU, Polish abbreviation SKOK) was founded in 1992 and is headquartered in Sopot. It is the national representative and service body for Poland's credit union (SKOK) system, which was rebuilt with international assistance after Poland's democratic transition and regularised by dedicated legislation in 1995. According to its data, affiliated credit unions provide savings and credit services to about 2.5 million members. The association is a member of the International Co-operative Alliance, European cooperative organisations and the World Council of Credit Unions (WOCCU).
