Sancor Cooperativa de Seguros Ltda

Sancor Cooperativa de Seguros Ltda is a major Argentine cooperative insurance institution, founded in December 1945 in Sunchales, Santa Fe Province, by dairy farmers and cooperatives associated with the SanCor dairy cooperative, headquartered in Sunchales, and approved to operate by the national insurance regulator in 1947. It later developed into the Grupo Sancor Seguros, with business spanning property, personal and health insurance and financial services, and has expanded into Uruguay, Paraguay, Brazil and other Latin American countries. It is one of Argentina's largest insurance cooperatives, ranks among the world's top 300 cooperatives by turnover in the World Cooperative Monitor, and is a major member of ICA Americas.
