REScoop.eu (REScoop.eu)

REScoop.eu is the European-level federation of renewable energy cooperatives (energy communities), launched in 2011 and formally registered under Belgian law in 2013, with offices in Brussels and Antwerp. According to its website, as of early 2025 it had more than 100 member organisations from about 25 European countries, linking around 2,500 energy cooperatives and about 2 million citizens. It advocates a citizen-centred, decentralised system of clean renewable energy, promoting the transition towards "energy democracy."
