Palestinian Agricultural Cooperative Union (PACU)

The Palestinian Agricultural Cooperative Union (PACU) is the national federative organisation representing agricultural cooperatives throughout Palestine, formed in 2013 through the merger of three major unions, headquartered in the West Bank. According to its data, the union links over a hundred cooperatives and tens of thousands of farmers, working to strengthen collective action among cooperatives, improve agricultural production and competitiveness, and use regional and international networks to advocate for farmers' rights and expand product sales, making it the representative body for Palestine's agricultural cooperative movement.
