The Office of Cooperative Societies (OCS-PNG) is Papua New Guinea's government agency responsible for cooperatives, established under the Cooperative Societies Act 1982 (as amended in 1985), responsible for the registration and regulation of cooperatives. It is led by the Registrar of Cooperative Societies and reports to the Minister for Trade, Commerce and Industry; its functions include registering cooperatives, providing funding and training, developing markets, and promoting cooperative development. The office is a member of ICA's Asia-Pacific region.
