The National Federation of State Cooperative Banks Ltd. (NAFSCOB) was established on 19 May 1964, headquartered in Vashi, Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, to facilitate the operations of state cooperative banks and central cooperative banks and to promote cooperative credit development. It represents state cooperative banks, district central cooperative banks and primary agricultural cooperative banks, providing members with a common forum, and maintains departments for planning research and development, the all-India mutual arrangement scheme, and computer services, making it the national apex body of India's short-term cooperative credit system.
