National Federation of Farmers Procurement, Processing & Retailing Cooperatives of India Limited (NACOF)

The National Federation of Farmers Procurement, Processing & Retailing Cooperatives of India Limited (NACOF) was registered in November 2009 under India's Multi-State Cooperative Societies Act, 2002, headquartered in New Delhi. Its membership comprises state-level federations and district- and primary-level cooperatives from around 25 states and union territories, with operations covering the procurement, processing, retailing and marketing of agricultural, horticultural and fishery produce and agricultural inputs, and participation in schemes such as the public distribution system and mid-day meal programme. According to media reports, its annual turnover has reached hundreds of billions of rupees.
