Krishak Bharati Cooperative Ltd. (KRIBHCO)

Krishak Bharati Cooperative Ltd. (KRIBHCO) was registered in April 1980 with the encouragement of the Government of India, as a national multi-state cooperative headquartered in New Delhi, with its main production base at the gas-based fertiliser complex at Hazira, Gujarat. It manufactures and markets urea, ammonia and complex fertilisers, biofertilisers, seeds and other agricultural inputs, with share capital subscribed by thousands of cooperative societies nationwide. As India's second-largest fertiliser cooperative, it has ranked among the global top 300 (by turnover-to-per-capita-GDP ratio in the agri-food sector) in the World Cooperative Monitor report published jointly by the International Cooperative Alliance and Euricse.
