Kooperationen

Kooperationen is Denmark's national employer and interest-representation organisation for cooperatives and social-economy enterprises, founded in 1922 and headquartered in Copenhagen. As the apex body of the Danish cooperative movement, it promotes the cooperative model across banking and insurance, construction, crafts, conferences and culture, among other sectors, representing about 100 cooperatives and social-economy enterprises and more than 10,000 employees, and providing members with specialist legal advice on labour law, company law and construction law. Kooperationen advocates for cooperatives at the political level and actively participates in the work of the International Co-operative Alliance (ICA) and Cooperatives Europe.
