National Federation of Fisheries Cooperative Associations (JF-ZENGYOREN)

The National Federation of Fisheries Cooperative Associations (JF-ZENGYOREN), established in 1952, is the national federation of Japan's fisheries cooperatives (JF) and their prefectural federations and credit federations, headquartered in Tokyo. Through guidance and economic business, it supports fishers' operations and the development of fishing communities, and undertakes functions such as fisheries product distribution, fisheries policy advocacy, and ensuring stable supplies of safe seafood to consumers, serving as the national core body of Japan's fisheries cooperative system.
