Jamaica Co-operative Credit Union League (JCCUL)

The Jamaica Co-operative Credit Union League (JCCUL), whose charter was adopted in 1943, is the national apex federation and representative body for Jamaica's credit unions, with roots tracing to the first credit union founded in 1941. It provides affiliation, representation, and technical and central financial services to member credit unions, whose combined membership exceeds a million. As the core organisation of the Jamaican cooperative movement, it is a member of ICA Americas and the Caribbean Confederation of Credit Unions.
