The Tamil Nadu Small Tea Growers ICTFs Federation Ltd. (INDCOSERVE)

INDCOSERVE (The Tamil Nadu Small Tea Growers Industrial Cooperative Tea Factories Federation Ltd.) was established in 1965 by the Government of Tamil Nadu, headquartered in Coonoor in the Nilgiris district, to safeguard local smallholder tea growers. Described as India's largest tea cooperative federation, it unites around 30,000 smallholder tea growers under more than ten affiliated cooperative tea factories, engaged in the procurement, processing, storage and sale of green tea leaf, producing about 13 million kilograms of black tea annually under brands including 'Mountain Rose' and 'Ooty Tea', and also supplying fair-price shops under the public distribution system. It joined the International Cooperative Alliance (ICA) in 2021.
