iCOOP Korea (iCOOP) is one of South Korea's leading consumer cooperative federations, founded in 1997 by six primary cooperatives. It advocates 'ethical consumption', supplying organic, environmentally friendly food and fair-trade goods through a nationwide network of stores and an online marketplace, emphasising food safety, protection of agriculture and the environment, and respect for human and labour rights. iCOOP is made up of two federative bodies — consumer activities and business — with numerous member cooperatives and hundreds of thousands of individual members, and is a member of ICA's Asia-Pacific region.
