Iran Chamber of Cooperatives (ICC)

The Iran Chamber of Cooperatives (ICC), headquartered in Tehran, is the national apex non-governmental organisation of Iran's cooperative movement, with branches in each province. According to related sources, its role is analogous to that of Iran's chamber of commerce, but focused on the cooperative sector, responsible for representing, serving, promoting and developing cooperatives, providing professional training, dispute mediation, exhibitions and business consultancy to cooperatives, and maintaining several specialised committees that act as think tanks for the sector. ICC is a member of ICA's Asia-Pacific region.
