Guangdong Federation of Supply & Marketing Cooperatives

The Guangdong Federation of Supply & Marketing Cooperatives is the provincial-level federation of the ACFSMC system in Guangdong Province. Drawing on the Pearl River Delta's well-developed markets and distribution systems, it has developed particular strengths in cold-chain logistics and distribution of agricultural products, agricultural socialised services, recycling of renewable resources, cooperative finance and international cooperation. In April 2025, the federation was admitted to the International Cooperative Alliance at the ICA Board meeting held in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic (as of mid-2025 the ICA website's member directory had not yet been updated to reflect this); in August 2025, the ICA Asia-Pacific Regional Board meeting was held in Guangdong, reflecting the federation's growing engagement in international cooperative affairs.
