Fremia

Fremia is Sweden's largest independent employer organisation, formed in January 2021 through the merger of the employer associations KFO and Idea, headquartered in Stockholm. Its membership consists primarily of cooperatives, enterprises owned by popular movements, civil-society organisations and value-driven non-profit institutions. According to its website, it has about 5,000 member organisations and more than 150,000 employees. Fremia's core function is to negotiate and conclude collective agreements covering wages and employment conditions on members' behalf, and it is a member of Cooperatives Europe, the ICA's European regional organisation.
