The Federación de Cooperativas de Ahorro y Crédito Ltda. (FECOAC), founded on 12 July 1987 and granted legal status in 1989, is Paraguay's second-tier union of savings and credit cooperatives, engaged mainly in sectoral advocacy, education and training, and technical assistance. Its members are numerous first-tier savings and credit cooperatives; it represents the financial cooperative sector within the Paraguayan cooperative movement and is affiliated with the national apex organisation CONPACOOP.
