The Iran Oilseeds & Vegetable Oil Processing Factories Cooperative (FARDA Coop) is an industry cooperative of Iranian vegetable-oil producers, established in May 2006 and headquartered in Tehran. According to its website, its membership comprises 28 vegetable-oil processing plants that together account for over 90% of Iran's vegetable-oil industry; it provides members with technical, financial and raw-material support, and has founded a cooperative university as well as transport and exhibition companies. FARDA has twice been named an outstanding cooperative of the year by Iran's Ministry of Cooperatives, and is an ICA Asia-Pacific member.
