Cooperatives Union of Kyrgyzstan (CUK)

The Cooperatives Union of Kyrgyzstan (CUK) is Kyrgyzstan's largest cooperative federative organisation, bringing together more than 240 agricultural service cooperatives. The union mainly represents cooperative interests, communicates with state agencies, and advises on public policy in support of cooperatives, working to establish a stable, sustainable cooperative system in Kyrgyzstan; it has helped drive amendments to cooperative-related legislation and tax and fee reductions, and regularly holds cooperative forums. CUK joined the International Cooperative Alliance in 2018.
