The Cámara Uruguaya de Cooperativas de Ahorro y Crédito de Capitalización (CUCACC), founded in 2002 and headquartered in Montevideo, is a non-profit sectoral union bringing together Uruguay's leading savings, credit and capitalisation cooperatives. It represents and defends the sectoral interests of these cooperatives, is recognised by the state as the sector's union representative, and its member cooperatives are spread nationwide, making it an important federation in Uruguay's cooperative finance sector and a member of the International Co-operative Alliance.
