Crédit Coopératif

Crédit Coopératif was founded in 1893 and is headquartered in Nanterre, on the outskirts of Paris. It is a cooperative bank focused on the social and solidarity economy, long serving associations, social-economy enterprises and socially conscious individual customers. The bank is wholly owned by its customer-cooperative shareholders, following one-member-one-vote cooperative governance; it has belonged to the French BPCE banking group since 2003. According to its data, total assets stood at about €24.7 billion in 2024. It is a member of the International Co-operative Alliance and European cooperative organisations.
