COOPERATIVA DE SEGUROS MÚLTIPLES DE PUERTO RICO

Cooperativa de Seguros Múltiples de Puerto Rico was founded in 1952 and is headquartered in San Juan; it is Puerto Rico's oldest and largest cooperative insurance institution, capitalised by the cooperative system. It underwrites motor, home, commercial and other property and liability insurance lines, with more than 700,000 policyholders, and holds sound financial-strength ratings from agencies including AM Best and Demotech. As the island's representative in cooperative insurance, it is a member of ICA Americas.
