CONFEDERACIÓN COOPERATIVA DE LA REPÚBLICA ARGENTINA (COOPERAR)

The Confederación Cooperativa de la República Argentina (COOPERAR) is Argentina's national apex federation of cooperatives, founded in December 1962 (originally named COOPERA) and jointly established by cooperative unions in consumer goods, credit, insurance, pharmaceuticals, electricity and other sectors, headquartered in Buenos Aires. It is a third-tier cooperative organisation, currently uniting dozens of cooperative unions spanning public utilities, consumption, education, health, savings and credit, production and housing, among other fields, representing the Argentine cooperative movement externally, and is a member of ICA Americas.
