Coompanion

Coompanion is Sweden's national support network for the founding and development of cooperatives and social enterprises, made up of about 25 regional organisations, long providing advice, training and business coaching for entrepreneurs seeking to set up cooperative businesses, some services being funded and provided free of charge by the Swedish Agency for Economic and Regional Growth (Tillväxtverket). According to its website, it has about 25 local and regional offices nationwide, is governed jointly by numerous members, and helps several hundred new cooperative enterprises get started each year. It is a member of Cooperatives Europe, the ICA's European regional organisation.
