The Confederación Paraguaya de Cooperativas (CONPACOOP), founded on 15 October 1991, is headquartered in Asunción and is the highest-level representative and advocacy body of the Paraguayan cooperative movement. Its membership consists of second-tier cooperatives — that is, various central unions and federations — coordinating the affairs of the national cooperative sector, and it represents the Paraguayan cooperative movement nationally within ICA Americas.
