Confederación Española de Cooperativas de Trabajo Asociado (COCETA)

The Confederación Española de Cooperativas de Trabajo Asociado (COCETA) was founded in 1986 and is Spain's national representative organisation for worker cooperatives (cooperatives jointly owned and operated by their workers), headquartered in Madrid. It unites worker cooperative unions and associations across Spain's autonomous communities, promoting socially responsible, competitive cooperatives built on equality, democracy, autonomy and solidarity, and dedicated to creating quality jobs and social cohesion. Worker cooperatives lead business and job creation within the Spanish cooperative movement, spanning services, manufacturing, commerce and catering across production sectors. COCETA is also a member of CEPES and the European cooperative network CECOP.
