Profile

CoBank (CoBank, ACB) is one of the three banks of the United States Farm Credit System, a cooperatively structured agricultural credit bank headquartered in Greenwood Village in the greater Denver area of Colorado. It evolved from the cooperative bank system established under the Farm Credit Act of 1933, was formed in 1989 through the merger of several cooperative banks, and subsequently merged in the St. Paul Bank for Cooperatives (1999) and US AgBank (2012). CoBank is owned by its customers and lends to agricultural cooperatives, agribusinesses, rural electric and water utilities and other Farm Credit institutions, making it one of the world's largest cooperatives by turnover.
