CLIMBS Life and General Insurance Cooperative, founded in 1971, is headquartered in Cagayan de Oro City, Philippines, initiated by local cooperative federations, with the aim of providing mutual protection to cooperative members — farmers, fishers and employees — who otherwise struggle to access insurance services. Regulated by the Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) and the Insurance Commission, it is one of the leading providers of cooperative microinsurance (life and non-life) in the Philippines, and is a member of the International Cooperative Alliance.
