The Cooperative House Building & Finance Corporation Ltd (also known as Sahakari Awas-Nirman Evam Vitt Nigam), headquartered in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India, has its origins in a state-level housing federation registered in Uttar Pradesh in 1969, which began operations in 1972. The institution is a state-level cooperative housing federation focused on the development and financing of cooperative housing, serving as a bridge between individual housing cooperatives and national cooperative institutions. According to Cooperative Housing International (CHI), it has approximately 1,423 member housing cooperatives and tens of thousands of individual members, and is an ICA Asia-Pacific member.
