CENTRO DE ESTUDIOS Y CAPACITACIÓN COOPERATIVA R.L. (CENECOOP)

Centro de Estudios y Capacitación Cooperativa R.L. (CENECOOP) is Costa Rica's national education, training and research support institution for the cooperative movement, founded in approximately the early 1980s. Operating under the Cooperatives Law (Law No. 4179) and funded by cooperative funds, it is responsible for the continuing education, training and research of cooperative personnel, promoting the sustainable development of cooperatives and solidarity-economy organisations. As a cooperative-education institution, it participates in ICA Americas as an associate member.
