Barbados Cooperative Business Association (BCBAL)

The Barbados Cooperative Business Association Ltd (BCBAL) was founded in May 2014 as a second-tier cooperative democratically owned and controlled by its member cooperatives, dedicated to promoting the development of cooperatives in Barbados and the wider Caribbean. Membership is open to registered cooperatives, and the association conducts training, development and community activities, with a focus on reviving dormant cooperatives and expanding emerging cooperative enterprises. It is a member of ICA Americas.
